The Knoxville Catholic High School class of 1954 held its 50-year reunion May

The next traditional Latin Mass, offered in the Diocese of Knoxville on the
first Sunday of each month, is scheduled for 5 p.m. Sunday, July 4, at St.

Latin Masses in the Diocese of Knoxville that Bishop Joseph E. Kurtz has authorized

Knoxville Catholic High School will offer a cheerleading camp from 9 a.m. to
noon Monday, June 28, through Wednesday, June 30, for incoming kindergarten
through sixth-grade girls in the school gymnasium on Fox Lonas Road in Knoxville.

Knights of Columbus Council 8152 in Crossville will sponsor its 12th
annual charity golf tournament at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, at Deer Creek Golf Club
in Crossville. This is an amateur event using a scramble format. Entry fee:
$55 per person or $220 per team; includes greens fees, cart, and dinner at
Cancun restaurant. The event will feature two flights and prizes of $300 for

The fourth annual Bowl for Life, sponsored by the Knox County Chapter of Tennessee

and Family in the Third Millennium conference Saturday and Sunday, July 23

A festival of Middle Eastern cultures and people will be held on the grounds

Knights Council 6730 is hosting a Family & Altar Servers Day at the Tennessee
Smokies–Chattanooga Lookouts baseball game Sunday, June 27. The council
has reserved a shaded section of Smokies Park in Sevierville and will pay the
admission for altar servers, Knights’ widows, and clergy to attend the

Seekers of Silence will host Lectio Divina: Praying With the Scriptures, presented
by Dr. Barbara Haning, as part of its “Contemplative Saturday Morning” series

The Chattanooga Deanery will host a summer youth retreat, “Discover,” for
incoming fifth- and sixth-grade students Thursday, June 24, through Saturday,

The second annual Art & Antique Extravaganza will be held Friday and Saturday,
Sept. 10 and 11, at Knoxville Catholic High School. Proceeds will be donated
to the Knoxville Regional Catholic Schools Operating Fund, established to help
children from Catholic families in need. Tickets will be available at all schools
for the Friday night gala, which will include hors d’oeuvres, drinks,
music, and a silent auction. The Saturday “extravaganza” will feature
art and antique items and specialty booths staffed by East Tennessee dealers.
